AUTOMATIC SUNRISE-TO-SUNSET OPERATION
Set the feeder to open at sunrise and close at sunset so your chickens' feeding routine follows the natural daylight cycle. This helps reduce the need to continually change opening and closing times as daylight hours change through the seasons. Prefer a fixed schedule? You can also program your own opening and closing times, with up to three feeding cycles per day.
HELPS KEEP RATS, MICE & PESTS OUT
When the feeding door closes at night, access to the feed is restricted, helping reduce exposed food for rats, mice, wild birds and other unwanted visitors. That means cleaner surroundings and better-protected feed overnight.
40KG GRAVITY-FED HOPPER
The hopper holds up to 40kg of dry chicken pellets. As your chickens eat, fresh pellets naturally move down into the feeding area, maintaining a steady supply while the door is open - without a complicated dispensing mechanism.
HELPS REDUCE WASTED FEED
The enclosed feeding area helps keep pellets contained and reduces the scratching, flicking and scattering that can waste feed around the coop. Less feed on the ground also means less food available to attract pests.
